Fabrication Process
Following the client's original sketches and drawings, we started with an internal structure from lumber, then began adding layers of newspaper and cardboard to create the rocket ship's shape. It was finished with fire-safe milk paints, a real traffic cone and custom graphics. The base platform was CNC cut from plywood using the Multicam 5000, and finished with acrylic paint and a clear coat.
