Fabrication Process
We started with a commercially produced mobility scooter, stripped it down, and made a faux tile base which did not interfere with steering or breaking the scooter. This required reconfiguring and reinforcing the electronic control system of the base scooter to be more robust. We then 5-axis routed, urethane coated and HVLP-painted a bear-sized toilet with a tough internal PVC frame.
