Fabrication Process

American ballet dancer, Wendy Whalen, approached us for a custom lifecast of her body, to be used as puppets for a production of Hagoromo, at BAM Theater in Brooklyn.

We started first by molding her chest, arms and torso, along with a mold of her head. We then took those molds and cast each piece in white resin, which Wendy's crew of choreographers then used for both rehearsals and production.
