Fabrication Process
The most interesting part of this build was its multifaceted mechanical function.
It had multiple spring-loaded parts which activated when the tumblers were moved to specific positions.
Our engineers, 3D modelers, and metalsmiths collaborated to prototype a functional design and then execute the build using a combination of hardwood, CNC milled brass, and ABS internal parts.
