PROJECT FOR: The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Materials: Dimingel UV Resin, Water clear urethane resin, aluminum

Technology & Techniques: 3D printing, molding, roto-casting, manual metal work

This custom full scale Mannequin was based on a 3D scan we did of a model. We then 3D printed the figure at full size using our Massivit 1800 Pro and meticulously sanded the print before it was molded and roto-cast in a translucent plastic. Our expert metal workers fabricated the pole and hidden mounting hardware to hold the figure suspended.
