Description
Introduced in 2005, the Taurus PT909 is part of the next generation of pistols offered from the Brazilian company Forjas Taurus SA. The Taurus PT909 is intended to provide both civilians and law enforcement agents with a more compact alternative to their PT 92, while not sacrificing firepower. The PT909 fires 9mm rounds from either a 15 or 17-round magazine. A notable attribute of this firearm is the Picatinny-type accessory rail constructed into the frame below the barrel.
