Description
The Star M-43 Firestar is a single-action, semi-automatic pistol for the 9 mm Parabellum cartridge that was designed/manufactured by the now-defunct Spanish company Star Bonifacio Echeverria SA. The Firestar is a recoil operated pistol made with a steel frame which makes for a heavy weapon, but also adds reliability and durability. From 1994, the year of its introduction, the M-43 Firestar was sold to civilian markets worldwide and never found vast amounts of success however there are still users who carry the Firestar as a personal defense weapon.
