Description
The Ruger Redhawk was first launched in 1979 and, at the time of its introduction it was among one of the most powerful handguns in the world – as it was the first double-action revolver to utilize the .44 Magnum round. The Redhawk is a selective double-action revolver with a uniquely long chamber which allows magnum rounds with higher powder concentrations to be loaded. The revolver also allows for a variety of sighting/scope options; which when supplemented with especially powerful rounds, makes the Redhawk an extremely useful hunting revolver. The Redhawk shown in the picture above is fitted with an additional scope.
