Description
The P-38 was initially developed by Walther in Nazi Germany in the mid-1930s and saw continued production and variations until recently in 2000. The Walther P-38 was a major stepping-stone for preparations set-forth by Nazi Germany while gearing up for its European offensives during the late 1930’s, which ultimately triggered World War II. The P-38 was developed to replace the expensive and nearly obsolete Luger P08 used by the German Wehrmacht. The P-38 is a semi-automatic, double-action pistol that fired eight- 9×19 Luger/Parabellum rounds.
