Description
Seeking to exploit the recognition of the Desert Eagle name, the “Baby Eagle” is, in fact, the imported name given to the Jericho 941 manufactured by Israel Weapon Industries (IWI). While visually similar, the two pistols are very different regarding operation and intended use. The Jericho 941 is truly intended as a combat pistol, whereas the Desert Eagle is impractical for such purposes, due mainly to its size. As per operationally, the Jericho 941 is of standard double action, short recoil design. IWI started production and exportation of the Jericho 941 in 1990 and it has since been used by various anti-terror units worldwide.
