Description

A small and lightweight folding carbine, this weapon follows the Kel-Tec philosophy that smaller is better. This weapon will accept a large variety of pistol magazines from different manufacturers making it very favorable among handgun owners. The Kel-Tec SUB-9 operates by use of a simple blow-back mechanism and is semi-automatic only. The weapons also boasts several safety devices, including a lever-operated safety that blocks the sear and hammer, and disengages the trigger bar. The magazines are loaded in the pistol grip, and the weapon is charged via a lever located under the tubular butt-stock. This weapon also sports the ability to be converted into a highly compact 16”-long unit that is safe for transporting. The SUB-9 is the predecessor of the Kel-Tec SUB-2000.
