Description

The Bulldog is a 5 shot, selective double action revolver that was introduced in 1973 and produced by Charter Arms Co. The Bulldog was the flagship weapon produced by Charter Arms and was one of the best-selling weapons during the 1970s and 1980s. By the mid-1980s, more than half a million Bulldog models were produced. The Bulldog was made available for the .44 Special and .357 Magnum cartridges and barrel lengths of either 2.2 or 2.5 inches. It’s small and robust design made it popular as a concealed defensive weapon or backup firearm for private citizens and police alike.

This model was produced in blue steel. They were manufactured in both stainless and blue steel. This model was made infamous and the gun used by David Berkowitz aka: the Son-of-Sam
